REEF RESORT TONGA Reef Resort is a wonderful, boutique resort located on a tranquil island in beautiful Vava'u. The resort has only four stunning bungalows (fales) each with the most amazing sea views.

With just four very private and spacious detached bungalows, Reef Resort Tonga offers an exclusive retreat.  The resort is in a great location right on the beach on Kapa Island in the beautiful Vava'u island group and is only accessible by boat. The resort is situated close enough to town for sight-seeing and shopping excursions on the main island with its unique culture and life style, but far enough to be away from everything. No radio, car or television noise disturbs the tranquility of the island.

ACCOMMODATION All bungalows have large sundecks, lounger and chairs and hammocks, with spectacular ocean views and are equipped with air-conditioning, fans, tea/coffee making facilities, fridge and MP3 player speaker system so that guests can enjoy your own music.

DINING The beachside gourmet restaurant offers dining under the stars servicing culinary delights with its unique cuisine. They serve breakfast, lunch, freshly baked cake for afternoon tea and a 3 course dinner daily. Reef Resort has no set menu. We discuss our guests preferences and source the produce from the local market. The deep pacific ocean surrounding Vavau provides an abundance of seafood. The freshest Tuna, Wahoo, Coral Trout, Snapper and Lobster all feature. Organic locally grown produce is the main source of seasonal vegetables and fruit. Organic meat and chicken is flown in direct from NZ and compliments the local Vavau produce perfectly.

ACTIVITIES The Reef has one of the best snorkeling spots in Vava'u, the Japanese Coral Garden, just meters away from the beach. Other activities include swimming, snorkeling, bushwalking and kayaking. You can kayak from the resort to the Swallow Caves in a short time. Diving, game fishing, sailing trips and whale watching during season can be conveniently arranged.
