Tokoriki Island Resort is a small and personal resort built at the base of a steep forested hill alongside the 1000 meters of white sandy beach with breathtaking coral gardens and a sparkling lagoon situated on Tokoriki Island, nestled in the Mamanuca Island chain, surrounded by crystal clear waters 29 kilometers from Nadi. Escape to Tokoriki Island Resort, a romantic playground for the discerning traveller. Picnic on your own private beach, snorkel amidst a rainbow of tropical fish, dine under a blanket of stars. All thatched bures are beachfront, free standing, air-conditioned and have private outdoor showers. Sunset pool villas have their own private plunge pools at Tokoriki Island Resort.
ACCOMMODATION
The deluxe beach bures span the southern end of the beach and are dotted along the northern beach with easy access to the beach and spectacular sunset views. The bure is large with king-size bed and one single bed, lounge area and air-conditioning. The bathroom features a large indoor shower and stone wall private outdoor shower. Other amenities include a minibar, fridge, safe, hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities.

SUNSET POOL VILLAS
Honeymoon bure, The six luxurious villa style honeymoon bures which feature their own private plunge pool are built at the far ends of Tokoriki's beachfront. The first four honeymoon bures are built at the southern end of Tokoriki's beach and feature an expansive bedroom area, separate living pavilion, private outdoor shower, plunge pool and air conditioning. These four new bures are built over 100 feet/30 meters from the nearest guest bure and will be separated by the helipad.

ACTIVITIES
Tokoriki Resort has a variety of complimentary activities to suit any guest including: floodlit all weather tennis court with equipment provided, croquet, table tennis, pentaque, kayaking, windsurfing, hand line fishing, coral viewing, fish feeding, snorkeling, bush/mountain walking, badminton, volleyball and Church service. There is also a fresh water swimming pool. Other activities provided for a fee include scuba diving, game fishing, sport fishing, reef trawling, banana boat rides. Day trips available: a picnic on Honeymoon Island, Island hopping - visit 4 other Mamanuca Islands and village visit. Upon inquiry, Sun Vacations will provide details and costs for above activities. Tokoriki Resort has a Padi 5 star dive center offering professional Padi guidance and instruction available for Dive Courses booked in advance. The resort offers a full range of Padi courses, quality US Sherwood dive equipment for hire, fast boats with all safety equipment and all the dive gear is set up, carried, cleaned and stored for guests. DINING
The Dolphin Bar offers the perfect vantage point to relax, enjoy a tropical cocktail and watch the spectacular views of our fabulous Fijian sunset during happy hour - do not forget to bring your camera. The resort has two dining choices: The Poolside Café which is open for breakfast, lunch and all day snacks or dine under the stars while enjoying a full a La Carte menu at the Lagoon Terrace where serenaders. will entertain you at your table. The resort features special buffet dinners on Tuesdays and Thursdays with Fijian entertainment and feasting on Thursday leaving the guest with special memories of our famous Fijian hospitality. 2004 restaurant refurbishment The resort's main restaurant will receive an update in the first half of 2004 which will include the removal of the current windows to open the restaurant up into the garden and extending the outdoor terrace area to create a more indoor/outdoor feeling to the restaurant. Tokoriki Island Resort will also aim to further improve their menus and food service. An expatriate chef is scheduled to join the resort in early 2004.

PLANNING A WEDDING
The Tokoriki Island Resort offers an exotic and romantic venue for weddings with warm Fijian hospitality and spectacular sunsets. The resort is pleased to organize weddings on an individual basis. The public relations manager handles the wedding preparation, discusses specific needs in advance and fine tunes all the arrangements. Fijian weddings are internationally recognized and are legally binding. The wedding couple is required to obtain their marriage license in Nadi prior to arriving on the island. Wedding requirements in Fiji are a copy of the birth certificate, passport and copy of divorce papers if previously married. A marriage license fee of F$25.00 is applicable for all weddings. Marriage applicants with visitors' visas or bona fide tourists to Fiji from Australia, New Zealand, USA, Canada, UK and European countries are fully exempted from producing a confirmatory letter. However, Certificate of Single Status (or) Certificate of no legal impediment is required to be produced by Marriage applicants where (1) one party is a local and the other is a foreign citizen (2) marriage applicants who were former citizens of Fiji (3) marriage applicants who are foreigners and residing in Fiji (4) and Asians who are not citizens of one of these countries - Australia, New Zealand, USA Canada, UK, Japan and European countries. Marriage applicants from Japan must produce the Koseki-Shouhon, to certify their personal details.

The resort is accessible by a 15 minute helicopter ride from Nadi International Airport or Denarau Island; 15 minute seaplane ride from the Nadi base or Denarau Marina; 1 ˝ hour boat ride from Denarau Marina to Mana Island to connect with a 25 minute boat trip to the resort.
