Betham's Beach Cottages are located on the beautiful island of Nananu-I-Ra which is a short fifteen minute boat ride from Ellington Wharf. Ellington Wharf is situated at Rakiraki, approximately a two hour drive from the Nadi Airport at the northern tip of Viti Levu. Betham's Beach Cottages are situated on Naivere Bay with the Nakauvadra Ranges in the background which makes for a peaceful setting that you will just wish to lie around and relax.

ACTIVITIES The resort hires out snorkeling gear and kayaks from the beachside boutique where you can also buy beach wear, souvenirs and exchange books. Scuba diving is available through Kai Viti Divers and the Vatu-I-Ra passage offers some of the best diving in Fiji. The resort can also arrange fishing trips windsurfing and sailing. The windward beach is an excellent location for windsurfing and kite-boarding. Coaching and hire gear is available but it needs to be pre-booked. The reef in front of the resort is home to many varieties of colorful fish and the live coral provides hours of pleasure for even beginner snorkellers.

ACCOMMODATION The resort has five beachfront cottages that are about ten meters from the water. Space and comfort are priority with cool quarry tiled floors and screened louver windows to let in the sea-breeze. The cottages have ensuite bathrooms, kitchens with a two door refrigerator, gas cooker, dining and lounge areas with fans. The cottages are serviced daily. The 6 or 8 bed dorm and private double room have their own kitchens and plenty of space for cooking, eating and lounging about. They are fully screened with fans and security lockers are available. Bathrooms and toilets are attached. The friendly staff will service your accommodation daily.

FACILITIES The beachfront bure and Rob's Shop are open all day and into the evening to serve you. The Anchor Restaurant serves Fijian, Indian and Western dishes, first-class burgers and a most enjoyable breakfast. The resort also has a licensed bar.
