Situated on a marine sanctuary in the heart of the Mamanuca group of islands, just 19 kilometers from Fiji's International Airport, this renowned barefoot island paradise allows you to do as much or as little as you like.

BURE ACCOMMODATION Staying in a traditional Fijian bure is a magical experience; it's cool in warm temperatures, filled with decorative charm and an ideal relaxing place to read a novel or soak up the sun on your own private deck equipped with sun lounges. Several styles of bure accommodation are available on the island, from traditional thatched bures to adjoining bungalow style bures through to the beach wing, which offers 6 rooms right on the beach. All bures have ceiling fans, tea & coffee makers, refrigerators and private facilities. Two new bures built on Beachcomber Island Resort are in keeping with tradition, using ancient design and building skills. The design means that each bure is as wide as the combined arm spans of four Fijian men, known as Katu Va and is a blend of traditional thatching and sandstone with modern conveniences which include an outdoor sand-rinsing shower as well as an ensuite bathroom. Beachcomber now has 22 (6 beachfront/16 oceanview) individual bures in addition to 16 self-contained lodges and its Grand bure.

GRAND BURE ACCOMMODATION This unique structure is the largest traditional bure in all of Fiji's 300 plus islands with 114 unisex bunk beds. This is why it is named the "Grand Bure". Priced to be affordable, the Grand Bure is dormitory style accommodation with his & hers communal shared facilities and a unique experience where you meet people from all over the world, sharing an unforgettable true island experience. All guests have their own secure locker. Linen is supplied and the dormitory is serviced daily. The bure features communal shared facilities with hot showers and ceiling fans.

BURE & LODGE ACCOMMODATION Beachcomber Island Resort features several styles of Bure accommodation from traditional thatched to adjoining bungalow style through to a beach wing of six rooms right on the beach. All the bures and Lodge rooms have sun decking with private facilities - refrigerator, tea/coffee makers and ceiling fans.

BEACHCOMBER TRANSFERS - ONE WAY late drop off and early check out to/from Beachcomber Island is F$113.00 and return is F$226.00
