Palm Grove is located on the south coast of Rarotonga in the village of Vaimaanga in the quiet, enchanting area of Vaima and enjoys the peace and tranquility of one of the best locations on Rarotonga. Palm Grove is predominantly for couples, with the beachfront studios being especially popular with honeymooners and provides a laid back atmosphere which compliments the peace and tranquility of the area.
ACCOMMODATIONS
All the accommodation is in individual bungalows with eight beachfront studios set alongside their secluded beach; six garden studios, two one bedroom bungalows and one three bedroom bungalow set amongst hibiscus and tipani flowers. The beachfront studio units have one king size or two single beds with a maximum occupancy of two adults. The garden studios have one king size and one single bed with space for a cot allowing a maximum occupancy of four. The one bedroom bungalows have one king size and two single beds or four single beds, maximum occupancy is four. The three bedroom bungalow has two queen size and two single beds or three queen size beds with space for a cot with maximum occupancy of six. The Matenga Beachfront accommodates a maximum of 2 persons (no children under age 5) and has 1 king-size or 2 single beds. All bungalows have kitchen facilities, fan cooled, hairdryer, security safe, IDD telephone, radio, full insect screens, patio and guests are given a fruit bowl on arrival. The 1 bedroom superior unit has air-conditioning. The beach villa has 1 x king plus 1 x single as required in upstairs master bedroom. Downstairs - bedroom one has 1 x king or two singles plus 1 single as required. Bedroom two has 1 x king or 2 singles. No charge for children under 6 years in beach villa

FACILITIES
Palm Grove has a restaurant, bar, swimming pool, guest BBQ, guest laundry, TV lounge, library, rental motor bikes and bicycles, tour desk and internet desk.

ACTIVITIES
The resort offers complimentary snorkeling equipment, reef shoes and canoes. Scuba diving can be arranged through Sun Vacations Fiji with Cook Island Divers and both the managers, Tom and Shirley are registered dive masters.

DINING
The restaurant is open daily for breakfast and in the evenings for dinner from 18:00 hrs. The topical breakfast is included in the rates.

WEDDING PACKAGE
Packages can be customized to suit any size and style of wedding. Palm Grove works with multiple island vendors to supply all of your wedding essentials. For a truly island experience, include a performance by local dancers and singers. Have Palm Grove host your reception at their open-air restaurant, The Yellow Hibiscus. They have a range of 3 course meals and wedding cakes to choose from, and their private room can accommodate up to 40 guests.
Required marriage documentation is birth certificates and passports; divorce papers, if previously married and death certificate if widowed. You will need to arrive in the Cook Islands 4 working days prior to the wedding date and apply for the marriage license 3 working days prior to the wedding date. Otherwise you must apply for a waiver of these requirements prior to arrival for an additional charge. |

Transfers: Palm Grove is situated 13 km from the airport and they operate their own mini bus for personal meet and greet airport service with flower eis on arrival for all international flights. Please contact Sun Vacations for transfer rates.
Cancellation Policy:
Outside 30 days prior to expected arrival - no charge
Between 30 - 15 days prior to arrival - 25% cancellation fee; Between 14 - 8 days prior to arrival - 50%; Bookings canceled within 7 days of expected arrival or no shows - no refund. subject only to refund for any nights resold.
