Papageno Resort is located on the leeward side of Kadavu Island and may be reached by daily flights from Nadi Airport to Kadavu's Vunisea Airport. Transfers by boat from Vunisea take about forty minutes. Papageno Resort works to maintain the cultural solidarity of Kadavu by preserving local traditions, land and fishing territories as well as supporting the education of the local children. It is their hope that guests at the resort will share their respect for their culture and way of life.

ACCOMMODATION Each bure offers spectacular ocean views. The unique and spacious Fijian style bures blend island charm and modern comfort, all just steps from the beach. Papageno offers an array of amenities to make your stay as carefree as possible. Each bure is furnished with queen sized beds with the exception of the Royal Bure that has 3 king beds plus 1 x single, large private bathrooms, mini-bar and mini-refrigerator and ceiling fans. Each bure is furnished with palm tree furniture and is located only footsteps away from the beach with gentle south westerly breezes almost around the clock.

DINING Dining at Papageno is a truly delightful culinary experience. All meals are carefully prepared by their talented staff chef using only the freshest ingredients. Enjoy a colorful array of organically homegrown fruits and vegetables as well as free range eggs and fresh local fish. After a delightful meal, relax and sample "kava" in the lively atmosphere of traditional Fijian music and dance. Relax in their intimate island atmosphere. The main plantation house offers several screened sitting rooms, a sunny dining room which overlooks the water, a small library and a bar with a cozy lounge or drinks and sunset gatherings.

ACTIVITIES Visit Kadavu's world renowned dive sites and explore the ultimate underwater experience. Snorkel, hike, kayak or picnic. Play all day or just revel in doing as little as possible. The resort will work to accommodate your every need. Free resort activities include shore based snorkeling, kayaking, table tennis, volleyball, games/cards and movies.  Billiard table for 18 years and up is available in their new Tuku Tuku room.

	DIVE PACKAGES The Papageno Dive shop has been upgraded substantially in the last year.  Now the resort has four boats available for diving and fishing.  The resort offers various dive packages varying from 3 x 2 tank dives to 8 x 2 tank dives and special discounts are given to dive groups.  Nitrox is now available at the resort. Conditions & Cancellations:

Rates are in Fiji dollars and include vat tax . All rates are quoted per bure and include transfers to/from Kadavu Airport (with all stays of 3 nights or more - otherwise there is a F$100.00 boat transfer fee to/from the resort, breakfast, lunch and dinner and many non motorized and self-directed activities such as snorkeling and kayaking. Lemonade, tea and coffee are also complimentary. Cancellation Policy: Prior to 45 days - forfeit 50% of deposit but remainder is transferable to another date within 1 year of original arrival date. 45 days or less - 100% of final payment is non-refundable.
