All couples must register their intent to marry with the registry office in Nadi or Lautoka.  Each couple will be escorted to the registry office which is open from 09:00 - 15:00 hrs Monday - Friday (closed on public holidays).  Please allow 3 working days on arrival in Fiji to obtain your licence.

Documentation required:  the bride and groom must provide the following items to allow a smooth process of registering their intent to marry:  original birth certificates, Decree Absolute (divorce papers) if relevant, passports, death certificate of deceased former spouse, officially witnessed consent of parents (if under 21 years).
